From the moment we met, I knew AJ would be able to help us. Our horses responded to her immediately and it was time for my daughter to regain her confidence. We started right back at the beginning with groundwork, helping both horses and rider to be more confident and to know each others boundaries. It took a long time but gradually with AJ’s help and kindness my daughter started to ride again. On many occasions we were told to sell our ‘dangerous’ horse and that our KWPN dressage horse was too much for an amateur but with determination and the fabulous tools that AJ had given us, we stuck to our guns and now have the most amazing relationships with our boys. That ‘dangerous’ horse is now by best friend and I ride him, having had no real riding experience, regularly. He still gets scared sometimes but he knows that I am there to help him through and I know that he is the kindest, sweetest horse I could have ever wished for. That dressage horse that was too much for an amateur is now being ridden by my daughter for Great Britain and has risen through the junior ranks to young riders and doing amazingly well. What an honour to wear the GB badge!! Without AJ we would have two field ornaments and never have ridden again. I personally can never thank AJ enough for what she did for us and the joy that she brought back into all of our lives. I know our horses share the same love for her and they are always happy to see her again.
